God Sends Me → Action
God Sends Me → Action
Sees me purpose courage
There comes a moment when preparation must become participation, prayer must produce movement, and purpose must lead to action.
God does not call and prepare us simply to remain comfortable. He equips us so that, at the right time, we can step forward and become His hands, feet, and voice in the world.
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’” Isaiah 6:8
From Calling to Commissioning
God calls you into purpose.
God prepares you with courage.
Then God sends you into action.
Isaiah’s encounter with God changed him. After being cleansed and restored, he heard the Lord’s question: “Whom shall I send?” Isaiah did not ask for the entire plan. He simply responded, “Here am I. Send me!”
God is still looking for surrendered women who will answer that call.
You may not feel completely ready, qualified, or confident, but God is not searching for perfection. He is looking for willingness. Your availability can become the doorway through which His power reaches someone else.
Faith Must Move
Faith is more than believing that God can do something. Faith responds when He tells us to move.
“Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:17
Noah built before the rain came. Abraham left before he knew his destination. Esther approached the king before she knew the outcome. Peter stepped out of the boat before he understood how walking on water would work.
Their faith became visible through action.
Perhaps God has already spoken to you, but you are still waiting to feel fearless. Courage does not always arrive before the first step. Sometimes courage meets you while you are moving.
Take the step, make the call, begin the course, submit the proposal, launch the ministry, write the book, serve the community, or have the necessary conversation. When God says “Go,” your obedience becomes the bridge between vision and fulfilment.
Your Assignment May Begin Nearby
We sometimes imagine that being sent by God must involve travelling to another nation or standing before a large audience. Yet many divine assignments begin in ordinary places.
God may send you:
• Across the room to encourage someone.
• Into your family to break an unhealthy cycle.
• Into the workplace to lead with integrity.
• Into business to create opportunities for others.
• Into ministry to serve those who feel forgotten.
• Into your community to address a practical need.
• Onto a platform to speak truth with grace.
• Into a hidden place where only God sees your faithfulness.
Jesus told the man He had delivered:
“Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you.” Mark 5:19
His first mission field was home. Never underestimate the power of starting where you are.
Action Requires Trust
When Jesus sent His disciples out, He instructed them to depend on God throughout the journey. Their assignment required trust because they could not control every response, resource, or outcome.
Being sent does not mean the road will always be easy. You may face resistance, misunderstanding, delay, or rejection. However, opposition does not automatically mean you are outside God’s will.
The One who sends you also goes with you.
“And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
You are not stepping into your assignment alone. God’s presence goes ahead of you, His wisdom guides you, and His grace sustains you.
You Carry What Someone Else Needs
Your testimony may become another woman’s hope. Your business idea may create employment. Your prayer may strengthen a family. Your leadership may open doors for the next generation. Your obedience may become the answer to someone else’s prayer.
Do not disqualify what God has placed inside you because it feels small. The little boy’s lunch appeared insufficient until it was placed in Jesus’ hands. Small acts of obedience can produce impact far beyond what you can see.
You do not need everything before you begin. Start with what God has already placed in your hands.
Move With Wisdom, Not Haste
Action is not the same as rushing. God-led action flows from prayer, Scripture, wise counsel, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
Before moving, ask:
• Does this align with God’s Word?
• Has God confirmed the direction?
• Am I acting from faith or pressure?
• Is this the right assignment and the right season?
• What is the next clear step I can take?
You do not have to accomplish the entire vision today. Obey the instruction in front of you. God often reveals the next direction after we complete the present step.
Your Yes Can Change a Generation
Deborah arose and helped lead a nation into victory. Ruth acted with faithfulness and entered a redemptive legacy. Esther spoke when silence would have been safer. Mary surrendered to God’s plan and carried the promise.
Each woman’s action affected more than her own life.
Your obedience may also reach beyond you. The boundary you establish, the ministry you begin, the business you build, the truth you speak, and the people you disciple can influence generations you may never meet.
This is not the season to remain hidden by fear or paralysed by perfectionism. You have been called. You have been prepared. Now you are being sent.
Arise, woman of God.
Pray, and move.
Listen, and obey.
Trust, and build.
Believe, and go.
You do not need to have every answer. You simply need the courage to offer God your surrendered yes:
“Here I am, Lord. Send me.”
Prayer
Father, thank You for calling, preparing, and sending me. Give me discernment to recognise my assignment and courage to act when You speak. Deliver me from fear, delay, distraction, and perfectionism. Show me the next step and help me obey You faithfully. Use my gifts, testimony, influence, and resources to serve others and glorify Your name. I surrender my plans to You and say, “Here I am, Lord. Send me.” In Jesus’ name, amen.
With love Terri💎
